Hemmo - RS-600/800 ( 2009 ) 154" LongTrack edition...
Thought to share also with you guys.
My project is an RS-600 ( 2009 ) which is in process to be 800 with 154" track.
Motor is an RS-600 case, with 800 HO crank and 800 cylinders.
Ported by myself and pistons + head is RK-Tek.
Been riding RK-Tek stuff since 2007 and really like the performance of drop in kit.

With Lynx, this is normal situation!
800 gasket in 600 case, some milling required
Some little dents on the frame needed fixing
Bearing for PTO side had to be made like this
Ring end gap needed some fixing. If you are using some other pistons than stock ones,
I suggest to check gap, should be around 0.4-0.5mm
Room for 800 cylinder in 600 case
Powdercoated some parts
Friend fixed the seat, no longer that ugly red top.
Got measurement from 2 different xtrims (thanks rannerking).
I am doing this build on an short track frame,
so I needed xtrim measurement where to fit suspension.
didnt exactly do like they do in the factory
drop brachets (there will be also L shape reinforcements, not on the picture)
Should look something like this.
That coolant hole must be blocked if motor is used on REX/XP cooling system.
At this point, it looks like this. Still no motor or electrics installed. Also extensions must be made.

2stroke. There is nothing special about crank, oil hole drilled into mag side and grease is only on PTO side bearing. I think Rannerking did mod for his 700 to drill both ends open?
Last night I put electrics (800 rev wire harness + all electrics) and motor in. I am using 800R carb booths together with rev carbs and XP fram carb bowls. Rev carbs bowl wont clear the frame without hammering. Seems like this is coming together quite nice, although it seems to be drill-and-turn to fit everything in place.

now my motor has already been running once and all seem to be ok at this point.
I did measurement between R motor and HO intake, R motor is bit longer so I decided to use spacer. also with TM40 from REV needs XP carb bowls and bottom plug. Rev bowls hits frame without this mod.
All electrics are from rev and they will sit quite "ok" although this needed little figuring how to route everything.
Also fuel pump on RS is much slimmer than REV so I mixed best parts from these and used Rev pump middle section to get only one outlet from pump (rs has 2)
First test run and fuel system taken from my watercrosser
Last, bad video taken with my mobile but it is running now

Lookin good! Is the railextensions done or are you trying to get the engine to run first?

Yes rails are done. We just milled old extensions a little and made them 30mm shorter by saw&weld style

so how do you like it now? Only minor electric issues to fix and it is ready for winter.
